Her works are not driven by a need to acquire images, but rather as testimonies of encounters — with nature, emotion and her own sensitivity. They are the result of an inner journey, intimate contact with wild nature and a deep immersion in its natural rhythm and mysteries. Above all, she values local photography – she returns to familiar places, not looking for spectacular images, but for relationships: with space, light, the cycle of seasons, and her own sensitivity. In a world that increasingly forgets about respect — for nature, for people, for diversity — she returns to her roots: to careful observation and listening with one’s heart. In her philosophy of photography, it is not the photograph itself that is the ultimate objective, but rather the journey that leads to it — one filled with effort, patience, challenges, and setbacks, and above all, conscious choices. Years of experience, personal exploration and a willingness to ask herself difficult questions have shaped her belief that responsibility for a photograph begins long before the shutter is released. It is this unique and personal journey that gives meaning to her photography. In her work, she combines humility with deep awareness — she rejects the pursuit of ‘a photo at any cost’ in favour of deep contact with nature, honesty towards herself and the world she photographs. She believes that a good photograph is born not from technical perfection, but from a spark of the soul. Aware of the transience and complexity of the world, she wants to be present in it — with respect and sensitivity. For 17 years, she has been professionally associated with the municipality of Rewal, where her specialisation originated — photography of birds and mammals of the coast of the Baltic Sea. For over a decade, she has been actively involved in their protection, including through the WWF Blue Patrol, both in the field and in the social domain, where she raises awareness and promotes an ethical approach to nature. A deep awareness of the impact of human presence on nature forms the foundation not only of her creative work, but also her educational activity. Her introvert personality and preference for working in silence have led her to pursue a career as an independent photographer for over twenty years. Although she does not participate in photographic competitions herself, she acts as a juror in national events, which is a testament to her consistency, mature perspective, and deep artistic sensitivity. She values the diversity of experiences, sensitivity and unique perspectives that every photographer carries within themselves — including wonder and silence that remain in a person long after the photographs have been taken.
